The market is trading firm due to the favorable cues from Asian markets, which is showing sign of recovery from earlier losses. Domestic market opened on positive note and BSE Sensex regained 15000 mark and NSE Nifty also crossed 4500 mark as buying is going on the most of the indices. All indices are trading in positive and only FMCG is trading in negative. The market breadth is positive as 1671 stocks are trading in green while 533 stocks are trading in red.
At 11.30AM, BSE Sensex is trading higher by 322.46 points at 15,211.71 and NSE Nifty is trading up by 84.00 at 4,533.80. The BSE Mid Cap and BSE Small Cap are trading up by 93.52 points and 135.62 points at 6,197.35and 7,476.78.
Gainers from the NSE Nifty are BHEL up by (5.93%) to trade at Rs1,465.50 in line with Bharti Airtel (4.74%) at Rs813.10, Ranbaxy Lab by (4.61%) at Rs586.60, HDFC by (3.52%) at Rs2,178.00, Reliance Infra by (3.37%) at Rs1,042.75, L&T Ltd by (3.29%) at Rs2,670.50 and NTPC Ltd by (3.28%) at Rs166.85.
The Capital Goods index is trading up by 326.62 points at 11,944.19. Pushing it are BHEL trading up by (6.29%) at Rs1,469.00 along with L&T Ltd by (3.07%) at Rs2,668.90, Suzlon Energy by (2.45%) at Rs276.00, Jyoti Struct by (2.44%) at Rs109.10 and Bharat Elect by (2.30%) at Rs1,120.05.
The Metal index is trading higher by 265.91 points at 15,531.83 as SH Precoated is trading higher by (3.86%) at Rs138.70 followed by Hindustan Zinc by (3.14%) at Rs585.15, Steel Authoruty by (2.91%) at Rs162.75, Jindal Saw by (2.62%) at Rs537.00, and Jindal Steel by (2.52%) at Rs2,063.20.
BHEL is trading higher by 6.29%) at Rs1,469.00. It has won Rs 3,588 crore turnkey order which has been placed by Pragati Power Corporation Ltd to set up a Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) at Bawana here through international competitive bidding. The order also involves commissioning and supply of four gas turbines for Pragati-III CCPP.
Bharti Airtel is trading up by (4.56%) at Rs812.95. Bharti Airtel with Vodafone Essar announced on Tuesday that they are going launch Apple’s latest ‘iPhone 3G’ by the end of this year which is of third generation, smartphone in India. On that time the government is also likely to give a go-ahead to advanced 3G mobile services. New phone will also be launched in the global market.
